Petkov returns
Bulgarian international Mario Petkov returned to deny his former club, winning the game for Vardar with his goal five minutes from full time, in a match marked by the fine form of both goalkeepers, Pero Kargov of Bregalnica and Vardar's Gogo Jovcev.
Tikves form continues
Newly promoted FK Tikves remained second after scoring twice in the last ten minutes against FK Kumanovo and deserved a 2-1 win. Kumanovo took the lead on 55 minutes when Dragan Ivanov scored from the penalty spot. But Blagoj Donev equalised and Boban Jancevski's last-minute winner gave Tikves their fifth victory of this season.
Pobeda leave it late
In another exciting game, FK Pobeda left it until four minutes into added time to gain a 2-1 win against FK Cementarnica 55. Saso Krstev scored the opener for Pobeda on the quarter-hour, but with three minutes left, Brazilian Mariano Ricardo equalised for Cementarnica. However, Krstev was on target again in the final moments to clinch the points.
Belasica held
FK Rabotnicki beat FK Napredok 1-0 thanks to Dusan Nedeljkovic's 43rd-minute goal, while high-flying FK Belasica GC were held 0-0 by struggling FK Sloga Jugomagnat - the former champions the only side still to win this season.
Abandoned game
FK Sileks' match with FK Pelister was abandoned during the first-half due to adverse weather conditions, and is scheduled to be replayed on Monday afternoon.
