Bosnia-Herzegovina round-up: Leotar suffer first loss

FK Leotar's unbeaten Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League run is over after a 1-0 defeat against NK Zrinjski.

Juric on target
Nedeljko Juric scored the only goal of the game, heading in a right-wing cross to seal victory in the 35th minute, and Leotar had to play the last quarter-hour with ten men after Dejan Musovic was sent off.

Tight at top
NK Široki Brijeg are the new leaders after a 0-0 draw at FK Mladost Gacko in a tight table where three points separate the top nine. FK Rudar Ugljevik dropped from first to fifth with a 2-1 loss against FK Celik, who are in second thanks to goals from Nermin Sabic and Dzevad Tabakovic.

Sarajevo joy
NK Željeznicar are in the top three despite being held 0-0 at FK Kozara, and FK Sarajevo are also in the leading pack after beating FK Borac Banja Luka 3-0 - the first match the visitors had played in the capital for eleven years. Albin Pelak, Emir Obuca and Alen Skoro were Sarajevo's scorers.

Posušje on form
NK Posušje moved up to sixth in the table after claiming a narrow 2-1 home victory over FK Buducnost Banovici. Posušje went ahead in the 31st minute when Ivan Matic converted a penalty before scoring a deserved second on 88 minutes from a Darko Novacic header. Faik Kamberovic gave the visitors hope with a goal a minute from time, but there was no equaliser.

Stupac in charge
NK Jedinstvo, under their third coach of the season, Halim Stupac, celebrated victory against FK Sloboda Tuzla. Ervin Smajlagic and Mustafa Menzil's goals secured a 2-1 win, Adnan Smajlovic was on target for the visitors.

Velez bottom
In the day's other games, NK Glasinac and NK Zepce played out a goalless draw, while FK Bosna secured a precious 1-0 victory against FK Velez, Anes Buljina's goal sending the visitors to bottom place.
