FK Austria Wien stayed top of the Austrian Bundesliga with a 3-1 win over Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz.

FK Austria Wien kept their advantage at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga at the weekend thanks to a 3-1 home win over Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz.

Points safe
The visitors went ahead on 25 minutes through Laszlo Klausz but Didier Dheedene levelled on the stroke of half time. Roland Linz latched on to Vladimir Janocko's pass to make it 2-1 and Michael Wagner made the points safe a minute from time.

Comfortable victory
SK Rapid Wien, meanwhile, consolidated second spot with a 3-0 defeat of FC Kärnten. Andreas Herzog opened the scoring on 48 minutes, Roman Wallner doubled the advantage on 75 minutes and Andreas Ivanschitz rounded off a comfortable victory in the dying stages.

Sturm undone
In the 111th Grazer derby, Grazer AK defeated SK Sturm Graz 2-1. Unlucky not to go ahead through Mario Tokic on 15 minutes, Rene Aufhauser broke the deadlock just before the break before Alain Masudi equalised on 77 minutes. Sturm were undone soon after by a Ronald Brunmayr header

Trouble-free win
SV Pasching collected a trouble-free 2-0 win over VfB Admira Wacker Modling, earning three points with first-half goals from Alexander Metlitski and Dragan Sarac. SV Austria Salzburg slumped to the bottom of the table when they lost 3-1 at home to SV Ried.
