EU national
The Primera División club said on Wednesday that the 24-year-old was now eligible to play with the status of a European Union (EU) national. Under Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rules, clubs are allowed up to four non-EU players on their books, but only three can play at once.

Loan spells
Kaviedes signed for Celta in 1999 after a season with Italian club AC Perugia and has had spells on loan with Mexican side FC Puebla, Real Valladolid and FC Porto during his time with the Vigo side. He played against Mexico and Croatia in the FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan
