FC Flora demolished FC Levadia Tallinn 10-0 at the weekend in the biggest win of the season.

Defending champions FC Flora roared to the biggest win of the season by thrashing FC Levadia Tallinn 10-0 at the weekend to stay top of the Estonian Meistriliiga.

Emphatic revenge
Flora avenged their 2-1 quarter-final cup defeat to Tallin in May in the most dramatic fashion, slamming in seven goals inside half an hour with Norwegian strikers Tor Henning Hamre and Aleksandr Kulik both collecting hat-tricks. Winger Aleksandr Tarassenkov celebrated his return from injury with two goals and the inspirational Kert Haavistu was also on the scoresheet, alongside centre-back Andrei Stepanov.

Levadia in touch
FC Levadia Maardu, were also quick off the mark as they brushed aside JK Trans Narva 5-2 to remain two points behind Flora, striking three goals in the first 34 minutes. Konstantin Nahk buried a curling free-kick on five minutes before playing in Argo Arbeiter to hammer in a stunning right-foot volley, which left the in-form Vladimir Tselnokov to add the remaining three goals. Maksim Gruznov pulled two back, one from the spot.

Teever late show
Young FC TVMK Tallinn striker Ingemar Teever was on target twice in the last three minutes to secure a 3-1 defeat of FC Lootus Kohtla-Järve, Andrei Krõlov putting the visitors ahead with his 30th goal of the season on 39 minutes, but Maksim Bazyukin equalising eight minutes from time.

Missed penalty
Last-placed FC Levadia Pärnu pushed hard to beat JK Tulevik Viljandi, but settled for a 1-1 home draw. Ranet Lepik opened the scoring on 32 minutes for the hosts but Vjatseslav Zahovaiko levelled with a penalty soon after, Indrek Joost wasting the chance to secure all three points on 63 minutes when he missed a penalty.
