Kahn returns
With Oliver Kahn back in goal, Bayern were hoping to move five points clear of BV Borussia Dortmund, but Markus Daun put Bremen ahead on 17 minutes, and Mladen Krstajic beat Kahn again nine minutes from time, heading in a disputed corner after Angelos Charisteas’s flick to move his side into fourth.

'We have to fight'
"We slept in the first half," said Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld. "I had the impression that some players could not cope with the pressure. We have to fight to start winning again."

Bochum win

VfL Bochum 1848 are up to sixth place as they overtook Hertha BSC Berlin with a 3-0 home win over the capital side. Dariusz Wosz put Bochum ahead three minutes into the second half, Paul Freier doubled the lead 12 minutes from time and Thordur Gudjonsson made it three in added time to move Hertha into eighth place.
