Article body
'A very good year'
"I have had a very good year. I am very happy about this award indeed," Janocko said, after becoming only the third foreigner to scoop the prize after FC Tirol Innsbruck's Argentinian Nestor Gorosit in 1991 and Polish player Radoslaw Gilewitz, also of Tirol, in 2000.
Coaches vote
The 26-year-old Janocko clearly won the poll of ten coaches in the Austrian Bundesliga, coming ahead of Axel Lawaree of Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz, Wien team-mate Thomas Mandl and TSV 1860 München's Austrian international midfield player Harald Cerny.
