Stoilov injury rocks Litex

PFC Litex Lovech will be without captain Stoycho Stoilov for the remainder of the year with a fractured ankle.

PFC Litex Lovech captain Stoycho Stoilov will be out at least until New Year after an injury, received in Saturday's derby match against Bulgarian Premier League leaders PFC CSKA Sofia.

Fractured ankle
In the 57th minute, Stoilov was substituted after a tackle by CSKA defender Ibrahim Gueye. He was instantly taken hospital, where it was discovered that he had fractured his ankle.

'This year is over'
"This year is over for me, I will be out at least until New Year," Stoilov said on leaving the hospital. The former CSKA player had been an important member of the Litex squad as they aimed to challenge his old side for the Bulgarian title.
