Late winner
The A PFG leaders, who have a six-point advantage at the top of the table, built on a 3-2 first-leg success thanks to Todor Yanchev's 81st-minute goal at the home of their second-division opponents.
Penalty saved
PFC Levski Sofia also progressed to the semi-finals after a 1-1 draw at PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv. The home side missed a golden opportunity nine minutes into the second half when former Levski midfield player Krasimir Dimitrov had a penalty saved by Georgi Petkov.
Levski hold on
The escape seemed to inspire Levski, who went ahead two minutes later through Dimitar Telkiyski, and although Ivan Paskov quickly equalised, Levski held on for a 2-1 aggregate victory. However, the game was marred by scenes of crowd trouble, which prompted the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) to ban Lokomotiv from their ground for one match. The team will now play the league match against CSKA on 15 March at an alternative venue.
Second-leg fightback
In the other second-leg tie, PFC Marek Dupnitza turned around a 1-0 first-leg deficit to eliminate PFC Chernomorets Burgas. Marek broke the deadlock 13 minutes from time with a penalty from Amiran Mujiri, before the same player converted a second spot-kick two minutes before the end of extra time to complete a thrilling comeback.
First-leg success
PFC Slavia Sofia beat PFC Litex Lovech 2-0 in the fourth quarter-final, a delayed first-leg tie. Georgi Georgiev and Blagoy Georgiev scored the home team's goals either side of half-time. No date has yet been set for the return match.
