Paris Saint-Germain FC striker Fabrice Fiorèse has had his ban for diving increased by one game.

Paris Saint-Germain FC striker Fabrice Fiorèse has had his ban for diving increased by one game by the French Professional League (LFP) upon appeal.

Further punishment
Fiorèse had received a two-match ban on first hearing by the LFP's disciplinary committee last week, having been found guilty of two counts of simulation against FC Girondins de Bordeaux in December. Following PSG's appeal, the LFP's appeals panel decided to increase the punishment, meaning the 27-year-old striker will now miss three games.

Controversial incidents
Fiorèse recently admitted that he had dived to win a penalty during PSG's 1-1 draw with Bordeaux despite making no contact with opposition goalkeeper Ulrich Ramé. After referee Damien Ledentu had awarded the penalty, Fiorèse then collapsed to the ground again after an argument with Bordeaux's Marco Caneira. The Bordeaux defender was dismissed following the incident, but television replays showed he had made no contact with Fiorèse.
