Bosnia-Herzegovnian Cup holders FK Sarajevo have been eliminated at the quarter-final stage by NK Zepce.
Penalty drama
The tie was finely poised following a 1-1 first leg draw in the capital, and it was equally so after 90 and 120 minutes tonight after the spoils were shared again. The match was eventually settled on a penalty shoot-out, Zepce triumphing 4-3. There was better news for last season's runners-up and league champions NK Zeljeznicar, whose 2-0 home second-leg victory secured a 4-1 aggregate success against second division FK Modrica.
Resounding success
In the other quarter-finals, FK Leotar followed up their impressive 10-0 first-leg win against FK Velez with a 3-2 away success for a resounding aggregate scoreline, while two goals from Armin Dzinovic secured NK Zrinjski's win against FK Borac Banja Luka. The semi-final matches will be played on 19 March and 9 April.
