PSV Eindhoven took a major step towards sealing their first Eredivisie title since 2000/01 after a stunning 2-0 home victory over rivals AFC Ajax.
Kezman double
Five-star Feyenoord
Third-placed Feyenoord made the most of Ajax's slip to enhance their hopes of a UEFA Champions League berth next season with a convincing 5-0 home win against SC Heerenveen. Thomas Buffel opened the scoring in the tenth minute before Robin van Persie doubled the lead five minutes after the interval.
Van Hooijdonk hat-trick
The in-form Pierre van Hooijdonk then closed in on the division's top scorer Kezman with three goals in nine minutes to take his tally to 21 in 19 games, with 12 in the last six matches. The victory took Feyenoord to 55 points, just a single point behind the Amsterdam side.
Anastasiou the hero
Roda JC are up to fourth after they overcame sixth-placed NEC Nijmegen 2-1 in Kerkrade. The visitors took an early lead through Frank Demouge's first-minute strike, but Predrag Filipovic equalised ten minutes before half-time. Greek striker Ioannis Anastasiou was the hero for Roda, scoring the winner eleven minutes after the restart. The bad news for Roda was an achilles tendon injury that looks certain to rule out Idrissa Sonko for the rest of the year.
Waalwijk drop
Fehér pays the penalty
NAC Breda's Csaba Fehér missed a penalty against Willem II as his side recorded their second successive 0-0 stalemate, while Henk Vos, Edwin de Graaf and Geert den Ouden scored as RBC Roosendaal beat SBV Vitesse 3-1. Elsewhere, AZ Alkmaar moved up to ninth with a 3-1 win against bottom club De Graafschap and relegation strugglers FC Zwolle beat SC Excelsior with an 89th-minute winner from Dominggus Lim-Duan.
