Collision with Galásek
The Danish international suffered the injury in a collision with Ajax defender Tomáš Galásek after 34 minutes and was replaced by Ernest Faber. "I did not see him coming and I think that he fell on my knee," Bøgelund said.
Elkhattabi out
Bøgelund was not the only player in the Eredivisie whose season ended abruptly at the weekend. AZ Alkmaar striker Ali Elkhattabi faces a long lay-off after suffering the same injury during his side's home victory over De Graafschap on Friday.
Torn achilles
On the same night Roda JC's in-form Gambian striker Edrissa Sonko tore his achilles tendon in the first half of the 2-1 win against NEC Nijmegen. FC Utrecht, meanwhile, lost midfield player Tom van Mol with a torn cruciate ligament.
Kuyt concern
The Belgian was injured in a collision with Rolf Landerl 22 minutes into yesterday's match against FC Groningen. Utrecht also have worries over striker Dirk Kuijt, who injured a hamstring in the same game.
