RC Strasbourg will be under new ownership next season after a buy-out from a group of investors including former player Marc Keller.

Five years
The French club will change hands on 30 June after owners IMG-McCormack decided to end their five-year involvement that had seen former tennis professional Patrick Proisy placed in charge. The company bought Strasbourg in 1997 for €760,000 and pledged to invest €23m.

Keller involved
The amount the new owners have paid has not been revealed. Led by 41-year-old businessman Patrick Adler, the group includes former Strasbourg midfield favourite Keller, the club's current general manager, who also played in Germany for Karlsruher SC and in England with West Ham United FC.

Coach needed
During IMG's reign, Strasbourg fell short of joining the top clubs in France but did manage to win the French Cup in 2001. The club are also on the hunt for a new coach for next season after Ivan Hasek announced earlier this month that he would step down at the end of the campaign.
