Article body
Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane helped Tottenham Hotspur FC recover from being a goal down to inflict defeat on visiting Aston Villa FC at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Four-place climb
The Premiership's only Sunday game featured two teams struggling at the wrong end of the table - but Keane's 81st-minute winner ensured the London club climbed up four places to 12th.
Low drive
After a goalless first half, Sweden's Marcus Allbäck gave David O'Leary's Villa a 66th-minute lead with a well-taken header - but 20-year-old Rohan Ricketts equalised for the home side 12 minutes later with a low drive.
Form striker
It seemed the game might end in a draw but Keane, who scored twice in midweek for Ireland in their international friendly victory against Canada, pounced to win the match with nine minutes remaining. Only Wolverhampton Wanderers FC have scored fewer Premiership goals than Villa, who have not won away from home in seven matches and remain in the bottom three.
