Nevio Scala's FC Spartak Moskva narrowly defeated FC Moskva to move joint-top in Russia.

Aleksandr Samedov popped up late on to ensure Nevio Scalas' FC Spartak Moskva defeated FC Moskva 3-2 in a thriller in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.

Quick opener
Moskva striker Hector Bracamonte had opened the scoring for the visitors after just ten seconds, collecting one of the quickest ever goals in the history of Russian football, but Dmytro Parfyonov then converted two spot-kicks to turn the match on its head. Budun Budunov levelled five minutes from time, but it was Samedov who had the last word for Skala’s charges, who are one of six teams to have taken five points from their opening three games of the season

Honours even
PFC CSKA Moskva shared the spoils following a 1-1 draw at FC Krylya Sovetov Samara. Russian international winger Rolan Gusev opened the scoring for the visitors with a trademark free-kick only for substitute Denis Kovba to head home a second-half equaliser. CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was shown a straight red card shortly afterwards.

Two draws
FC Lokomotiv Moskva were held to a 1-1 home draw by FC Torpedo Moskva in a capital derby. Diniyar Bileletdinov, for the visitors, and former-Russian international Alexander Panov, for the hosts, were both on target. FC Rubin Kazan and visitors FC Rostov also drew 1-1.

Devastating Dinamo
Elsewhere, FC Dinamo Moskva crushed FC Rotor Volgograd 5-0 with Erik Korchagin scoring a hat-trick in the absence of Dmitri Bulykin, who is suspended for five games. FC Zenit St. Peterburg and FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast drew 2-2 while FC Shinnik Yaroslavl and FC Amkar Perm defeated respective opponents FC Kuban Krasnodar and FC Alanya Vladikavkaz 1-0 at home.
