PSV Eindhoven capped off an excellent week with a 3-0 win at FC Den Bosch to maintain their four-point lead in the Eredivisie, while second-placed Feyenoord kept up the pressure by going one better with a 4-0 win against NAC Breda.

Farfán opener
The KNVB awarded PSV a 2-0 win following the abandonment of last month's encounter with ADO Den Haag before a 1-0 UEFA Champions League win against newly-crowned Norwegian champions Rosenborg BK in midweek. PSV promptly marked their return to domestic duty with an easy win on Saturday. Jefferson Farfán broke the deadlock with a free-kick four minutes before the interval and second-half goals from Alex and Phillip Cocu sealed the points.

Four-goal Feyenoord
But Feyenoord remain in contention after a healthy win at De Kuip against in-form NAC. Dirk Kuijt opened the scoring on 14 minutes with his ninth goal of the season, before Bart Goor doubled the lead almost immediately after the interval. Goor was again on target in added time, three minutes after Thomas Buffel had added a third.

In-form AZ
The result marked a good recovery for Feyenoord following last week's 4-1 defeat, and the side that inflicted that scoreline, AZ Alkmaar, continued their fine form with a 4-0 win against fellow UEFA Cup participants FC Utrecht. Martijn Meerdink, Kenneth Perez, Robin Nelisse and Olaf Lindenbergh were all on target to make it three wins in eight days for AZ following Thursday's 2-0 triumph against AJ Auxerre.

Ajax go fourth
AFC Ajax had a less auspicious week in European competition, losing at Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC in the Champions League, so coach Ronald Koeman made six changes and his side duly won 3-1 at Willem II to move fourth. Ajax were forced to come from behind though after Zdenek Grygera's own goal, but two first-half replies from Mauro Rosales and a second-half goal from Maxwell turned the game around.

Roosendaal rarity
The two bottom sides met at De Luiten where RBC Roosendaal ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against De Graafschap with Jesper Hakansson, Robert Molenaar and Pius Ikedia all scoring. FC Groningen recorded their first away win since May with a 2-1 victory against fellow strugglers FC Twente, while the game between RKC Waalwijk and SC Heerenveen ended goalless. Finally, Matthew Amoah gave SBV Vitesse Arnhem a 1-0 win against NEC Nijmegen to climb to tenth.
