West Ham United FC have agreed a new two-year contract with Shaun Newton. The 29-year-old former Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Charlton Athletic FC midfielder arrived at Upton Park on a short-term deal in March to bolster the club's successful promotion push to the Premiership.
Former England captain Tony Adams has become a trainee youth coach at Dutch club Feyenoord. The 38-year-old ex-Wycombe Wanderers FC manager and Arsenal FC defender said: "I believe I can teach players a lot with my experience but I also hope to pick up a feel of the Dutch youth programme and the structure of Feyenoord."
