Hearts face Bednár rest

Heart of Midlothian FC striker Roman Bednár has been ruled out for up to six weeks after damaging the cartilage in his right knee.

The Czech forward scored the only goal in Saturday's 1-0 win against Scottish champions Rangers FC but was forced off following a heavy tackle from Marvin Andrews and will now undergo surgery on Friday. Hearts lead the Scottish Premier League having won all eight games so far, their best start for 91 years.
