Eduardo Berizzo is set to be unveiled as RC Celta de Vigo's new coach after the 44-year-old Argentinian agreed terms on a two-year deal to replace the FC Barcelona-bound Luis Enrique.

A former Celta defender, Berizzo scored five goals in 102 league games for the Sky Blues between 2001 and 2005. Most recently in charge of O'Higgins FC, the ex-Olympique de Marseille and Cádiz CF player led the Chilean outfit to Apertura and Super Cup triumphs. Prior to those successes, the former Argentinian international centre-back was assistant coach to Marcelo Bielsa with the Chile national team between 2007 and 2010. Celta finished the recently concluded Liga campaign in ninth position with Luis Enrique at the helm.
