Pierre François was a barrister in Liège (Belgium) for 25 years (1978-2002), specialising in corporate law and litigation related to sport and football in particular.
He has been a member of the HEC academic team (Liège University) for more than 20 years.
He was the CEO Standard de Liège for 10 years (2003-2012) and was the CEO of the Belgian Pro League for 7 years (2015-2022). From June 2023 to April 2025, he was the CEO of RFC Liège. Since May 2025, he is the General Manager of Standard de Liège and Administrator of the Belgian Pro League.
