Sejdini was re-elected as FFM president at Sunday’s assembly in Skopje. The 51-year-old Bachelor of Law and private business owner has held the post since his election in March 2019.
"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for the trust shown," Sejdini told delegates. "The honour of being the president of the FFM is great. Your support obliges me to continue to give my best for the development of football in North Macedonia."
North Macedonia is looking forward to a memorable summer after its national team qualified via the play-offs for UEFA EURO 2020 – the country’s first ever appearance in a major tournament.
EURO dreams
"We will remember the year 2020 for our greatest success," said Sejdini. "We have confirmed that when we work honestly and are motivated, the results are there to be seen."
"We will continue in that direction in the next period. We provide the national team with the best working conditions, and I think there is no bigger motivation for the team than playing in the European Championship. I wish them every success."
Sejdini, who began his career in the FFM as chairman of the Youth Football Committee before being appointed as a vice-president in 2013, thanked UEFA for its support and cooperation in helping to develop football in North Macedonia.
"We are happy to have a great partner in UEFA, led by its president, our dear friend Alexander Čeferin," he said.
