Proceedings opened against Olympique de Marseille and Eintracht Frankfurt

Disciplinary proceedings have been instigated in accordance with Article 55 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR) following the UEFA Champions League group stage match between Olympique de Marseille and Eintracht Frankfurt (0-1) played on 13 September 2022 in France.

Charges against Olympique de Marseille:

- Throwing of objects - Art. 16(2)(b) DR

- Lighting of fireworks - Art. 16(2)(c) DR

- Use of laser pointers - Art. 16 (2)(d) DR

- Crowd disturbances - Art. 16(2)(h) DR

- Blocking of public passageways - Art. 38 UEFA Safety and Security Regulations (SSR)

Charges against Eintracht Frankfurt:

- Throwing of objects - Art. 16(2)(b) DR

- Lighting of fireworks - Art. 16(2)(c) DR

- Acts of damage - Art. 16 (2)(f) DR

- Racist behaviour - Art. 14 (2) DR

The UEFA disciplinary bodies will decide on the matter in due course.
