The UEFA Appeals Body has announced the following decisions which would affect the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches:

Match: 2023/24 UEFA Champions League: Hamrun Spartans FC v. Maccabi Haifa FC, played on 11 July 2023 in Malta

Decision:

Hamrun Spartans FC

- To fine Hamrun Spartans FC €20,000 and to order the partial closure of Hamrun Spartans FC’s stadium, which shall consist of the entire Main Tribune, during the next (1) UEFA competition match it plays as host club, for crowd disturbances. Said partial stadium closure is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

- To fine Hamrun Spartans FC €8,250 for throwing of objects.

Maccabi Haifa FC

- To order the enforcement of the suspended disciplinary measure imposed by the Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body in its decision dated 7 December 2022 (i.e., to ban Maccabi Haifa FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next (1) UEFA competition match, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects), in accordance with Article 26(3) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations.

- To fine Maccabi Haifa FC €30,000 and to ban Maccabi Haifa FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for one (1) additional UEFA competition match, for lighting of fireworks, throwing of objects, acts of damage and crowd disturbances.

- To order Maccabi Haifa FC to contact Hamrun Spartans FC within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters, i.e., for the damaged artificial grass.

Match: 2023/24 UEFA Europa Conference League: FC Torpedo Kutaisi v. FK Sarajevo, played on 13 July 2023 in Georgia

Decision:

- To fine FK Sarajevo €15,000 and to ban FK Sarajevo from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match, for crowd disturbances.
