AB decision affecting the attendance of supporters at UEFA matches

The UEFA Appeals Body has taken the following decision:

Match: Legia Warszawa vs. Molde FK (0:3) 22.02.2024, UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/2024

Incidents:

• Provocative message of an offensive nature (illicit banner), Art. 16(2)(e) DR

Decision:

The appeal lodged by Legia Warszawa is rejected. Consequently, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body’s decision of 20 March 2024 is confirmed.

The CEDB had ordered the partial closure of Legia Warszawa’s stadium (i.e. all the stands except the North stand) during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which Legia Warszawa will play as host club.

Please note that this decision (the partial closure of all the stands except the North stand) shall be served in addition to the existing partial stadium closure of the North Stand imposed by the CEDB on 19 December 2023. As a consequence of these decisions, Legia Warszawa will play its next home match behind closed doors.
