Since his election as President of the Israel Football Association (IFA) in 2018, Moshe Zuares has used his business background and in-depth knowledge of the IT industry to transform the Israeli game.

During his tenure, he has focused on promoting the country's most talented young players, enhancing training infrastructure, revolutionising women's football, and digitising operations. These accomplishments led to his unanimous re-election in 2023.

Prior to his IFA role, Zuares was chairman of Maccabi Petah Tikva, establishing Israel’s first youth development programme and overseeing the club's historic qualification for the group stage of the UEFA Cup in the 2005/06 season.
