The UEFA Champions Festival returns to Munich ahead of the 2025 UEFA Champions League Final, transforming the city’s iconic Olympiapark into a vibrant celebration of football, music and fan culture from Thursday 29 May to Sunday 1 June.

Free and open to the public, the Festival invites fans of all ages to immerse themselves in the excitement surrounding European football’s showpiece event, as FC Internazionale Milano prepares to face Paris Saint-Germain in Saturday’s final.

The festivities begin at 11:00 (all times shown are local) on Thursday, with a special opening ceremony led by four-time UEFA Champions League winner Andrés Iniesta, who will arrive in with the UEFA Champions League trophy and officially welcome fans to the event.

One of the main events is the Ultimate Champions Legends Tournament, taking place on Friday, May 30 at SAP Garden. The match will feature a star-studded lineup of UEFA Champions League greats, including Iniesta, Thiago Alcântara, Kaká, Luís Figo, Clarence Seedorf, Lothar Matthäus, Franck Ribéry, and Roberto Carlos. With limited tickets still available, fans are encouraged to act quickly to witness this rare gathering of football legends.

The entertainment lineup is equally impressive. Throughout the Festival, visitors will enjoy live performances from both local and international artists. On Friday night at 21:00, Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia will headline the Friday Night Show on the main stage, promising an electrifying atmosphere in the heart of Olympiapark. Complementing the music are daily appearances by street performers, freestyle footballers and family-friendly entertainers, including face painters and interactive games.

Football remains at the heart of the Festival – with a full schedule of youth matches, influencer games, and charitable initiatives organised by the UEFA Foundation for Children.

Festivalgoers will also be offered the chance to take a photo with the UEFA Champions League trophy, meet former stars during ambassador autograph sessions and win a variety of prizes and souvenirs for the whole family. They will also have the opportunity to take part in skills challenges, inflatable football activities, and other interactive experiences designed to engage and inspire.

Official merchandise at shops will be located on both the east and west sides of Olympiapark, offering exclusive UEFA Champions League gear, matchballs and trophy replicas.

Visitors are encouraged to download the UEFA Champions League App and visit the event guide, featuring the full festival programme, site maps, public transportation options, daily live updates and more.
