Trunda, 49, is a long-term sports and football official, and current owner of FK Mladá Boleslav. He previously served as the general director of Slavia Prague, and worked in the management of ice hockey club Kometa Brno before joining Boleslav as general director in 2021, acquiring a majority stake in the summer of 2024.
"Throughout my career in sports management, I have had the opportunity to get to know Czech football at all levels – from youth and amateur competitions to professional sports," he said.
"I recognise the need for unified, modern and efficient leadership [and] I sincerely thank you for your support, I truly appreciate it."
