ACL injuries can be one of the most serious and life-altering injuries in football, affecting players of all levels – from elite professionals to grassroots enthusiasts. That’s why UEFA's Medical & Anti-Doping unit has made ACL research a top priority and proudly supports the "Give the Voice Back" project.

The project invites players who have experienced an ACL injury to share their personal stories. By understanding how and why these injuries happen through first-hand accounts, we can uncover important insights to help prevent them in the future. Whether you play in a stadium or on a local pitch, your experience matters.

With the help of legends Beth Mead and Robert Pirès, the study explores the circumstances surrounding ACL injuries across both male and female players. Your story could play a key role in shaping future research, improving safety, and supporting the next generation of players.

Let’s work together to make football safer, stronger, and more inclusive – for everyone!

You can take the survey in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
