"The beauty of football is that there are so many different ways it can be played. I've been with some coaches who have had different ideas. The way we played this season with Bayern, the high press and the ball control, has been really enjoyable."

Harry Kane, England forward

In this series, we hear players explain how they adapt to various tactical systems and outline key factors of their performance that have propelled their rise to the top of the game. From the expectations placed on Donnarumma as a modern-day goalkeeper, to how Kane and Mead deal with the pressure to both score and create goals, each episode is a valuable resource for UEFA’s national associations and coaches.

"The role of a goalkeeper has become a lot more modern recently. They have to play out from the back. I try to be a modern goalkeeper and give everything for my team. Every day, with the coach and goalkeepers, we try to focus on one objective: we analyse the competition to understand what is needed in that match and work on that."

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Italy goalkeeper

Reflecting on series three, UEFA head of technical education & development Olivier Doglia said: "With the new series, our aim is to create a resource that’s both insightful and practical for players and coaches at every level, from grassroots to the professional stage.

"These videos are more than just analysis – they’re educational tools designed to inspire and inform, offering real-world examples and strategies that can elevate understanding and performance in football."

"I love being a ball player. I love having possession, being able to be creative, link up, try different things. I think the teams that I've been in, I've had a lot of freedom."

Beth Mead, England forward
