The website’s name, HaiLaFotbal.ro, translates as "come and join football", and the central idea of the digital hub is to maximise the use of available opportunities for current and future members of Romania’s football community, promoting a progressive attitude to the development of the game.
Every one of Romania’s 2,400 clubs and football academies are represented on the site, with club contact details, results, schedules and news updates available for all.
"For the first time, a digital place to gather has been created in the Romanian football family," said FRF President, Răzvan Burleanu.
"Clubs, children, parents, and all who are working on a daily basis in football can meet and share their experience on this platform, which is also an opportunity for the clubs and academies to promote themselves and to benefit from a modern and transparent tool for development.
"HaiLaFotbal.ro is, starting from today, an open invitation for all those who love Romanian football to shape the future of this sport in our country."
The digital platform has been designed to be of benefit to participants, coaches and specialists, with a variety of services built into the website’s functionality.
Creating a transparent football ecosystem
One section of the website is dedicated to those who want to create and build a career in football, with clubs able to list their job vacancies for interested applicants to apply directly on the site.
Special accounts have also been created for technical coaches, fitness coaches and other football specialists, allowing them to highlight their specialisms, with the intention of creating greater transparency and trust in Romania’s football ecosystem.
The hub also offers educational material and advice on nutrition, sports psychology, physical training and personal development, all in line with UEFA campaigns.
In addition to the Romanian Football Federation’s own resources, HaiLaFotbal.ro also promotes UEFA Playmakers, a programme like no other. Playmakers delivers a fun and safe introduction to learning football for 5-8 year old girls, through movement and play, all based around the magic of Disney storytelling.
