Neuendorf, who has served as president since 2022, was unanimously re-elected at the DFB's assembly in Frankfurt on Friday.

"We have used the last parliamentary term to stabilise and consolidate the DFB in every respect – in terms of atmosphere, finances, content and sport," Neuendorf said.

"We can be proud of what we have achieved together at the DFB and in German football, especially in the association’s anniversary year, but we must not be satisfied – a DFB executive committee is not elected for what has been achieved in the past. It is primarily elected for what it shows in terms of future prospects. To this end, we recently adopted the DFB Strategy 2030 – the first overall strategy for the DFB. We will implement it consistently and guide our actions accordingly."

Neuendorf has also represented UEFA and European football on the FIFA Council since 2023.
