English football mourns Martin Chivers

Chivers scored 174 goals in 367 appearances for Spurs between 1968 and 1976, helping them win the League Cup twice, as well as the UEFA Cup.
He scored both goals of Tottenham's 2-1 first-leg win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 1972 UEFA Cup final - a tie that Spurs won 3-2 on aggregate.
He had previously hit both goals in the 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the 1971 English League Cup final.
Chivers, who started his career at hometown club Southampton, also scored 13 goals in his 24 appearances for England. He played in Swiss club Servette after leaving Spurs, before returning to England for spells with Norwich City, Brighton, Dorchester Town and Barnet.
Tottenham said in a statement: "It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our legendary former striker, Martin Chivers. We extend our deepest sympathies to Martin's family, friends and former team-mates at this incredibly sad time. Rest in peace, Martin. One of the all-time greats."
