During the 2025/26 season, seven clubs were subject to proceedings before the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) for having overdue payables towards other clubs, employees and/or social and tax authorities.

Dinamo Batumi (GEO) had overdue payables in the 2025/26 season and therefore the CFCB First Chamber enforced the exclusion foreseen in its previous decision taken in March 2025. This decision was appealed before the CFCB Appeals Chamber. The latter rejected the club’s appeal and confirmed the First Chamber’s decision to exclude the club from the next one UEFA club competition for which it would qualify in the next three (3) seasons as from 2026/27. The case may still be appealed before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Additionally, the CFCB imposed the following fines on clubs :

CFR 1907 Cluj (ROU) - € 200,000

FC Ballkani (KOS) - € 200,000

FK Budućnost Podgorica (MNE) - € 95,000

FC Ordabasy Shymkent (KAZ) - € 75,000

FK Sarajevo (BIH) - € 20,000

Athletic Club (ESP) - € 10,000

Due to aggravating circumstances, namely recidivism and/or payables overdue for more than 90 days, the following four clubs were also imposed a suspended exclusion from participating in the next UEFA competition for which they will qualify:

CFR 1907 Cluj (ROU) and FC Ballkani (KOS), the exclusion is suspended for a probationary period of two seasons and will only be enforced if the clubs have overdue payables in the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons;

FK Budućnost Podgorica (MNE) and FC Ordabasy Shymkent (KAZ), the exclusion is suspended for a probationary period of one season and will only be enforced if the clubs have overdue payables in the 2026/27 season.

Final reasoned and binding decisions from the CFCB will be published on UEFA.com in due course.
