UEFA Friendship Cup 2026 brings together eight nations in Nyon 

The UEFA Friendship Cup will be hosted in Nyon, Switzerland, from 24 September to 3 October 2026, bringing together eight men’s Under-18 national teams from across the world for the third edition of the competition.

Taking place this year at the Centre sportif de Colovray, close to UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, the UEFA Friendship Cup, launched in May 2024, is part of UEFA Together, UEFA’s global development programme dedicated to sharing expertise and strengthening cooperation across the global football community. Beyond the matches, the tournament provides a platform for cultural exchange, learning and personal development.

Players and coaches take part in activities designed to encourage interaction between teams from different backgrounds, while educational workshops address key topics including anti-doping and the prevention of match-fixing. The competition also offers participating teams the opportunity to experience different footballing approaches and styles, contributing to the development of players and coaches at an important stage of their careers.

The participating teams are: Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, England, Egypt, Korea Republic and Spain.

All matches will be available to watch live on the UEFA YouTube channel and UEFA.tv. A football festival will also take place from Wednesday 30 September to Saturday 3 October, offering local schools, clubs and fans of all ages the opportunity to take part in football activities alongside the tournament.
