Kiely lands at Portsmouth

Transfer round-up: Portsmouth FC have signed goalkeeper Dean Kiely while Olympique de Marseille forward Koke has joined Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Olympique de Marseille forward Sergio Koke has joined Sporting Clube de Portugal on loan for the rest of the season. The 22-year-old former Spanish Under-21 international was unveiled this morning at the Sporting academy. He had scored one goal in nine league games for Marseille this season, and made four UEFA Cup appearances.

Belarus goalkeeper Vasili Khomutovski has joined Russian Premier-Liga club FC Tom Tomsk from FC Steaua Bucuresti for a reported €500,000. The 27-year-old returns to Russia, where he played for FC Dinamo Moskva in 2001, on a two-year contract with the option of an extension. A Romanian title winner in 2005, who spent three seasons at Steaua, he links up with international team-mate Aleksandr Kulchiy at Tom Tomsk.

Belgian league leaders R. Standard de Liège have signed Karim Faye. The 18-year-old Senegalese midfielder joins on a two-and-a-half year deal with the option of another two seasons.

Meanwhile, bottom club K. Lierse SK have recruited American forward Chuck Kim on a contract until the end of the season. The 22-year-old, who has played in Germany and the Netherlands with Alemannia Aachen and Roda JC, won the deal after a successful trial.

UEFA Cup hopefuls PFC Litex Lovech have loaned goalkeeper Yordan Gospodinov to Greek second division side Panserraikos FC. The 27-year-old, capped nine times by Bulgaria earlier in his career, has slipped behind Vitomir Vutov and Todor Todorov in the pecking order at Litex.
