Panathinaikos FC have claimed Greece's second UEFA Champions League berth for next season and finished first in the Super League play-offs after drawing with AEK Athens FC.

The end-of-season competition concluded when Panathinaikos drew 1-1 with city rivals AEK to finish with an unbeaten record from their six matches, while Aris Thessaloniki FC and Panionios GSS also ended level at 3-3. Panathinaikos will now enter Europe's premier club competition at the second qualifying round stage while AEK, who finished second in the play-offs, take their place in the same round of the UEFA Cup. AEK had finished above Panathinaikos during the regular season but won just two of their play-off matches. Third-placed Aris will also feature in the UEFA Cup having reached the Greek Cup final which takes place on Saturday, with Panionios qualifying for the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
