NK Dinamo Zagreb wrapped up their 11th Croatian Cup and a seventh domestic double with a 3-1 victory over NK Varaždin to secure an emphatic 8-2 aggregate triumph.

Leading 5-1 from the first-leg, Dinamo went into the match knowing a repeat performance would be enough. The hosts struck first with just six minutes on the clock, when Nikola Šafarić took advantage of some poor Dinamo defending. However, the goal had little bearing on the outcome of the final as Dinamo romped home, scoring three second-half goals.

"It's such a wonderful feeling to raise two trophies in just a few days," said NK Dinamo Zagreb captain Milan Badelj. "We didn't have a good first half, but we showed our class in the second and won the Croatian Cup."
