Austria acquire Ten Rouwelaar

FK Austria Wien have signed goalkeeper Jelle Ten Rouwelaar to provide competition for Hungarian international Szabolcs Sáfár.

Much travelled
The 25-year-old Dutchman, a former Under-21 international, has left PSV Eindhoven on a two-year contract, having enjoyed loan spells at FC Groningen, FC Twente, FC Zwolle and FC Eindhoven since the 2002/03 campaign. Sáfár, 31, has been with the capital club for three years and is expected to be the new No1 following Joseph Didulica's move to AZ Alkmaar. The Austrian title-winners enter the UEFA Champions League in next month's third qualifying round.
