Dream move
The 28-year-old, capped five times by Italy, has agreed a three-year contract with the Giallorossi, who have paid Cagliari €2m for half of his playing licence. "Playing for Roma and with Francesco Totti is a dream come true. I will do everything I can to impress," Esposito said. A knee injury restricted the forward to 18 games and one goal in Serie A last term, although the former Pescara Calcio and Udinese Calcio front-man leaves Sardinia having scored 58 times in 199 league appearances for Cagliari. He joins a Roma side preparing for a UEFA Champions League group stage campaign.
