Recurring problem The 26-year-old Didi suffered a recurrence to a problem in his left knee in a league game against FC Unirea Urziceni, having had an operation on cruciate ligaments in the joint last season. He will now undergo further surgery at a clinic in Rio de Janeiro and is expected to be out for another six months. Didi has played 16 minutes of UEFA Champions League football over the course of two group stage games.
Rated doubtful Muraşan, meanwhile, is rated as doubtful for the Matchday 5 fixture against Roma as he is nursing a muscle strain in his left leg. The 26-year-old has played all 360 minutes of his side's Group A campaign to date. The Romanian champions lie bottom of the section after four games, but are just two points behind Roma and FC Girondins de Bordeaux and three shy of leaders Chelsea FC.
