In a low-scoring conclusion to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals no player on UCL Fantasy, presented by PlayStation, picked up more than seven points, with four defenders among the six who finished as the joint-top scorers on Matchday 16.
GOALKEEPERS
After registering more saves than any other goalkeeper in the first legs, David Raya (€5.6m) shut out the opposition for the third consecutive second leg of this season's knockout stage as Arsenal defeated Atlético de Madrid 1-0. The Spaniard's six points was the most by any player in his position on Matchday 16.
In the final Raya and Arsenal meet Paris Saint-Germain, whose first-choice goalkeeper Matvei Safonov (€4.7m) made five saves as the holders edged past Bayern München. That helped earn Safonov three Fantasy points despite losing his clean sheet in the final seconds of the match.
While Manuel Neuer did all he could to keep Bayern in the tie with six saves in the second leg, his efforts were ultimately in vain and his owners may now look to free up funds by moving him out of their respective squads.
DEFENDERS
The most lucrative position from a Fantasy perspective on Matchday 16, six defenders scored at least six points, including the highly-owned Gabriel (€5.8m) and Nuno Mendes (€6.3m). The former was part of an Arsenal back line who shut out Atleti, three ball recoveries helping Gabriel to seven Fantasy points. Mendes scored six after being replaced before Paris conceded late on, ensuring the left-back's clean sheet bonus remained intact.
Half the players who delivered the highest Fantasy score of Matchday 16 were Arsenal defenders. Alongside Gabriel, both William Saliba (€6.0m) and Ben White (€4.7m) also picked up seven points with each completing four ball recoveries to go with the Gunners' ninth clean sheet of this season's Champions League.
Elsewhere, a magnificent individual performance from Paris centre-back Willian Pacho (€5.1m) at Bayern earned him the Player of the Match award, becoming the fourth defender to gain seven Fantasy points. The Ecuadorian's six ball recoveries took him over 100 for the campaign – the first player to do so.
MIDFIELDERS
With seven points, Leandro Trossard (€6.9m) registered his highest individual score since Matchday 1 after providing the assist for Arsenal's winning goal and making four ball recoveries. A commanding showing in central midfield by Declan Rice (€7.1m), which included five ball recoveries, led to the England international being awarded Player of the Match.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€8.5m) recorded his 11th attacking return of the 2025/26 Champions League, setting up Paris' early goal. Despite the in-form winger not getting on the scoresheet, he still managed six points, making it 63 over the past six matchdays.
FORWARDS
Two of the highest-owned Fantasy forwards heading into Matchday 16 were both on target in the semi-final second leg, but only one will feature in Budapest. Ousmane Dembélé (€9.7m) made it five goals in his last three Champions League appearances with a clinical finish. That led to the Frenchman earning six points, the same total as Harry Kane, whose 14th European goal of the season came too late to prevent Bayern's elimination at the hands of Dembélé's Paris.
No striker came close to matching the six points registered by those two, and with almost half of Fantasy managers owning Kane, expect a large flurry of transfer activity leading up to the final.
