8 UEFA Europa League group stage runners-up
8 third-placed sides in UEFA Champions League group stage
How the draw works
• The eight runners-up from the UEFA Europa League group stage will be seeded; the eight third-placed teams from the UEFA Champions League group stage are unseeded.
• Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other. Further restrictions will be announced before the draw.
