Kuzba strengthens Wisla attack

Polish striker Marcin Kuzba has joined UEFA Cup contenders TS Wisla Kraków on a one-year loan.

The Polish striker Marcin Kuzba has moved back to the Ekstraklasa where he has joined UEFA Cup contenders TS Wisla Kraków on a one-year loan after a spell in the French second division with AS Saint-Etienne.

Temporary move
Kuzba, who was also on loan in France from the Swiss club Lausanne-Sports, opted for another temporary move rather than anything permanent. "Wisla would have preferred to buy me and asked me to sign a five-year contract, but I decided to go for the other option," he said.

Date with Glentoran
The 25-year-old will be hoping to lead Wisla's attack when they meet Glentoran FC in the UEFA Cup qualifying round next week.
