Servette FC midfield player Sébastien Fournier will be out of action for two months after undergoing an operation on his left knee.
UEFA Cup tie
Fournier was forced to withdraw from the Swiss squad to face Georgia in their EURO 2004™ qualifier at the weekend after failing to respond to treatment. The injury also means he will miss Servette's UEFA Cup first-round encounter with KS Amica Wronki next week and Switzerland's EURO 2004™ double header against Albania on 12 October and Republic of Ireland on 16 October.
