'Ambitious club'
Mustafa said: "Gençlerbirligi are an ambitious club with good training facilities and they want to challenge for the title next season. That's why I am here." The signing of Mustafa follows that of Galatasaray's reserve keeper Kerem Inan, who has signed a three-year deal with the club.
President delighted
Gençlerbirligi president Ilhan Cavcav was delighted to have finalised the deal with the former Kocaelispor, Besiktas and Stuttgart Kickers player, saying: "With this signing we will be able to increase our goal percentage next season. We will have a very good season."
In the offing
Cavcav also revealed that Gençlerbirligi were close to signing former Galatasaray SK player Bülent Akin, who is currently with Bolton Wanderers FC and that Veysel Cihan was ready to sign an extension to his contract with the club.
