Feyenoord have signed goalkeeper Maikel Aerts from RBC Roosendaal, where he will remain on loan next season.
The 28-year-old has signed a five-year contract at the Rotterdam side, after his contract at Roosendaal expired. He will, however, remain on loan at Roosendaal for next season before joining up with Ruud Gullit's side in time for the 2005/06 campaign, when when current third-choice goalkeeper Zbigniew Malkowski's contract expires.
Feyenoord have the option to recall Aerts at any time during the coming season. The club earlier signed goalkeeper Gábor Babos from NAC Breda, while Edwin Zoetebier left for PSV Eindhoven last week.
