Bolano makes his mark at Parma

Parma FC midfield player Jorge Bolano has renewed his contract at the Stadio Ennio Tardini until 2007.

The 27-year-old Colombian, who played 16 Serie A games on loan at US Lecce last season, played 90 minutes as Parma opened their 2004/05 campaign with a goalless draw at home to FC Messina Peloro. The Gialloblu face Slovenia's NK Maribor in the first leg of their UEFA Cup first-round tie on Thursday.
