Gullit goes for Boussaboun

Feyenoord have signed NAC Breda striker Ali Boussaboun on a four-year deal for the start of next season.

Feyenoord coach Ruud Gullit has secured NAC Breda striker Ali Boussaboun on a free transfer for the start of next season.

Four-year deal
The 25-year-old is to sign a four-year contract starting on 1 July 2005, subject to a medical, with his NAC deal expiring at the end of June. Boussaboun's career began at ADO Den Haag and after a move to FC Groningen he joined NAC in 2002. This season Boussaboun has scored nine goals in 17 Eredivisie games.

Moroccan call
A former Dutch youth international, the Tangiers-born player recently decided to opt for Morocco and last week was called up to join the senior squad in a training camp in Spain. With Boussaboun playing out his time at NAC, Feyenoord return to UEFA Cup action in mid-February with a last 32 tie against Sporting Clube de Portugal.
