Hosni secures Strasbourg switch

Egyptian midfield player Hosni Abd Rabo has agreed a four-year contract with French side RC Strasbourg.

Egyptian experience
The 20-year-old Egyptian international, who has spent his entire career with Ismaily and scored four goals for the club this season, said: "Strasbourg had been watching me for three years. I had other offers but I know I'll improve quickly here."

Third signing
Hosni becomes the second Egyptian to play in Ligue 1, after Mido who represented Olympique de Marseille in 2003/04. He is Strasbourg's third summer signing following Stade de Reims Champagne's Amara Diané and Olympique Lyonnais reserve goalkeeper Nicolas Puydebois. Strasbourg reached the UEFA Cup thanks to victory against SM Caen in the French League Cup final on 30 April.
